The relations between States and the Law of Nations are not mutually exclusive. A State cannot exist in a vacuum and it’s actions often tend to be based on a mix of history, geography, the actions of other States and ultimately, by International Law. The aim of this blog is to draw attention to these issues and to showcase their importance at a time when the political map of the world is becoming increasingly volatile.
